Wang Gang, the striker for Beijing Guoan, achieved his goals on Sunday as the team defeated Shanghai SIPG 2-1 at the Beijing Workers Stadium.
The match was a thrilling encounter with both teams showing their attacking prowess. The first half saw a lot of chances created by both sides, but it was the visitors who took advantage and scored in the 46th minute through Zhang Wenhao.
However, the hosts were not to be outdone and equalized just three minutes later through Guo Zhenyu. The goal gave the home side a much-needed boost and they went on to win the game thanks to Wang Gang's goal in the 85th minute.

Despite losing the game, Shanghai SIPG manager Gennaro Gattuso praised the efforts of his team. "We created many opportunities but we couldn't take them," he said. "It's always tough playing against Beijing Guoan, they're a good team."
